As part of its ongoing commitment to community service and social responsibility, a group of students from the Faculty of Dentistry, under the supervision of their faculty members,
conducted a humanitarian visit to Hiwa Hospital on 18 May.
The visit was dedicated to supporting pediatric patients undergoing treatment at the hospital and
bringing moments of joy and comfort to the children and their families. During the event, students distributed gifts to the children and spent time interacting with them, creating a positive and uplifting atmosphere within the hospital.
The initiative aimed to provide emotional support to young patients by offering encouragement, companionship, and memorable experiences during a challenging period in their lives. The activities were warmly received by the children, their families, and the hospital staff, highlighting the positive impact of community engagement and volunteer work.
This visit reflects the Faculty of Dentistry’s dedication to fostering compassion, empathy, and social awareness among its students while contributing to the well-being of vulnerable members
of the community. Through such humanitarian activities, the faculty continues to promote the values of volunteerism and community involvement beyond academic and clinical settings
