Dentistry reunion for class of 2018

Alumni Office and Dentistry department of Tishk International University organized a reunion for recent graduate students of dentistry department class of 2018. The purpose of the gathering was for showing loyalty from the university to them and vice versa as well and strengthening friendship ties with each other. The reunion took place on Friday, February 22, 2019 in the outside of the university. After an amazing negotiation between previous doctors and graduate students breakfast was served to them, then ended by a group photo. We as, TIU, are always ready to serve our graduates in any sector of their life.

Hero Ismaeel Arif, a student from law department from 4th grade, born in sulaimany 1977, she is married and she has two children (Rozhyar and Raman). She has been working in media from 1995 to 2004 in Duhok. From 2004 till 2017 she was working on Kurdistan TV, as presenter, writer and out of these, through this 7 years she was presenting a program called “End of the week”. Great weather gathered Computer Engineering graduates class of 2017. Alumni office with cooperation of Computer Engineering department made its reunion on Saturday, November 10, 2017. The event took place at Tishk International University campus that started with alumni welcoming and getting together for discussion and chatting, it was followed by lunch, then we updated their information’s for our career center and trying our best to find vacancy for them and the event ended by group photo taking.

Mercy Corner Project On December 20, 2018, Tishk International University finalized the Mercy Corner Project by delivering the collected donations for the Hassan Sham Camp, which there are 1200 IDPs families living in there that most of them from Mosul. The amount of the donations estimated to be around 40,000 $ which we prepared a package for each family includes (men cloth, women cloth, toys, 5 kg of rice, two bottles of oil, lentils, shoes, blanket, diaper, socks, two types of kids clothes, baby clothes). Two of Tishk International University graduates published their graduation project Mohammad Sardar and Ahmad Mufti are graduates of IT department - Tishk International University, the year 2017-2018. Their graduation project was on developing a website for Kurdistan Football League to publish the data and statistics to football fans in Kurdistan.
