On 5 November 2020, Dr.Idris Hadi, Head of the Board of Trustee visited Tishk International University Sulaimani campus. The aim of the visit was to make a meeting about the project of building the new campus of the university in Sulaimani. In addition, He also attended the classes and talked to the students. Tishk International University, including all staff, deals with the students without doing any discrimination and helps them in any subject that the students ask for.  

On November 4, 2020, Faculty of Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a scientific trip to Asoy Gash city. The trip aimed to provide the students the knowledge about the general information about building constructions, recent materials used and general information about the design and structures in the city. On 02 November 2020, Faculty of Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a scientific trip to Sotka Dam. The trip aimed to provide the students the knowledge about the structure and design of the damp including the location of the Dam and its structural design detail of the Dam. The trip was supervised by Dr. Kawa Zaidan and he explained all details about the Dam including the structure and design of the Dam. The trip was attended by 12 fourth grade students and research assistants from Faculty of Civil Engineering Department at TIU.

On 31st January 2020 (Hiking Club)of (TIU) under supervision of (Ms. Zrian Ibrahim) arranged a Hiking to (Sara Mountain and Sarmod Village )the participants were  students from (Architecture ,Civil, Business and management ,ELT)departments and teachers, Total Participants were (60)the hike was observed by trained hikers the hiking goal was for getting benefit from fresh air of Kurdistan nature beauty, picturesque scenery ,exploring the great places of Kurdistan region and also calorie burn.
