Table Tennis Tournament
On 11th December 2022, Tishk International University-Sulaimani (TIUS) arranged a Table Tennis Tournament for both students and staff of the university. The tournament saw an enthusiastic participation from 26 skilled players, creating a vibrant and inspiring atmosphere. The competition featured a series of remarkable matches, showcasing the talents of its amazing contestants over an intense three-week period.
The thrilling final showcased the prowess of Safir Ali from the Business and Management Department and Arin Ismail from the Department of Architecture. Both competitors played with remarkable skill and determination, but it was Safir Ali who ultimately triumphed, earning the title of Champion after a fiercely contested match.
The accomplishments of both finalists were recognized in a prize-giving ceremony, where Dr. Dogan Ozdemir, Vice President of Tishk International University-Sulaimani, had the honour of presenting the awards. The event celebrated not just the victors, but the spirit of sportsmanship and excellence among all participants.
