On March 1st, 2022, Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University Sulaimani (TIU) organized a scientific trip to Qaiwan Heights project site.
The aim of the trip was to introduce the construction details of one of the buildings that is under construction and specifically introducing flat slab and reinforcement detailing closely to the students.
On the construction site, site supervisors and engineers explained the main structural elements and structural detailing of the building including slabs, columns, and pedestal installments.
The trip was supervised by Mr. Kamaran Shekha and an engineers from the project. The trip was attended by Third grade students from Civil Engineering Department at TIU.
