On 10 March 2022, Tishk International University Sulaimani branch arranged an event about “International Women’s Day”.
The aim of the event was to celebrate the importance of that day.
The event started with presenting a panel.
First, Mrs. Shyaw Latif Muhammed presented a speech entitled “How can Women find their hidden potential?”
And then, Prof.Dr. Shilan Omar Hussein presented a speech entitled “Women’s Academic Ability”.
The panel ended with presenting a speech by Miss. Bana Noori Kamallah entitled “How can Women be Successful in Business?”
In addition, a poem was read and songs were sung by the students.
In the end, the panelists were certified and flowers were given to the female students and staff.
International Women’s Day is one of the most important days of the year to celebrate women’s achievements, raise awareness about women’s equality, also International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
We, as Tishk International University, highly appreciate and acknowledge the incredible role that women play in our homes as well as in our society. Here at TIU, we try our best to provide a pleasant and friendly environment for our female staff and respect their contribution to the betterment of education on the campus.
