On December 21-22, 2021, Tishk International University/Sulaimany, Faculty of Engineering, Architectural Engineering Department has organized an event and hosted students from Parsian Zagros International School, from grade 1-6.
The event was a community service event that aimed to introduce the students to architecture in its simplest form so that they can understand and imagine within their little world. As it is proven that it is so important for everyone to get familiar with different fields in their early stages, because it will affect them on choosing their field and which one suits their abilities, talents and most importantly it will help them discover what the love to do in the future in their career.
In the event, students first meet some lecturers and architecture students to answer their questions about architecture and design. After that, they were guided to make a tour through the TIU-Sulaimani campus to see lecture halls, design studios and free-hand drawing halls with some amazing works of architecture students. Finally, they have painted some paintings and made a simple model, which was prepared for them previously, and it has been differentiated according to their ages. At the end of the events, students got some gifts from TIU and left the campus.
