On 02 December 2020, Faculty of Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a scientific trip to Gasn Cement factory in Sulaimani. The aim of the trip was to provide information about the steps and procedure of producing cement including the materials used. The trip included the tour around the factory and the students were provided required information about the machines and their purposes step by step.
The trip was supervised by Mr. Diary and he explained the engineering stages of the manufacturing cement. The types of cement were also explained. And it was attended by 11 second grade students and research assistants from Faculty of Civil Engineering Department at TIU.
