On 02 November 2020, Faculty of Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a scientific trip to Sotka Dam. The trip aimed to provide the students the knowledge about the structure and design of the damp including the location of the Dam and its structural design detail of the Dam.
The trip was supervised by Dr. Kawa Zaidan and he explained all details about the Dam including the structure and design of the Dam. The trip was attended by 12 fourth grade students and research assistants from Faculty of Civil Engineering Department at TIU.
